The Young Ideas: Digital Creatives Award is a half-termly competition run by the Computing Department, designed to celebrate imagination, design skills, and digital creativity across our student community.

Each half term, a brand-new theme and design brief is announced, inviting students to submit their most creative ideas. Entries can be either digitally created or hand-drawn—but must be entirely original, with no AI-generated content allowed.

Throughout the academic year, students have tackled exciting challenges such as:

• Fortnite Skin Design
• Digital Wildlife
• Football Kit Design

Entrants not only compete for big prizes, but also have the chance to earn House Points for their respective Houses. This year’s prizes have included:

• A brand new Manchester United shirt
• Alton Towers tickets
• Gaming vouchers
• Prom tickets

The competition is open to all year groups, and winners receive recognition for their outstanding creativity and effort. We’re excited to reveal the 2025/26 themes and prizes soon—so stay tuned and get ready to bring your ideas to life!
