Roald Dahl Day

Staff and students on Greenwood Campus 2 had a great day celebrating Roald Dahl day which took place on Thursday 13 September.

Pupils dressed up as characters from Roald Dahl's stories or wore his favourite colour yellow, with the money collected going to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.

Throughout the day English lessons were taken over with a range of exciting Roald Dahl based activities. In addition, there were images of Dahl's best loved characters hidden around the site for pupils to find as part of the Roald Dahl competition. In the afternoon, a mixture of Year 7 and 8 English groups came together in the hall to enjoy key scenes from the classic Dahl tale 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. It was a lovely day with a great atmosphere helped by lots of staff getting involved in some impressive costumes!
