On Tuesday 5th March Mrs Herbert and Mrs Somerville took a group of Year 7 and 8 Dance Club members and Year 11 Performing Arts students to Lincoln University for a BA Hons dance taster day.

Our students participated in various workshops delivered by the dance staff from the university, watched a performance from the current first year students, and had a Q&A session, where they were able to sit in groups with the students and talk about life at The University of Lincoln. They also worked in groups with students from schools around the area.

Our students were absolutely outstanding in their participation, behaviour and the way they represented the Academy. The majority of other students were Year 11+,  yet our Year 7 and 8's not only kept up and did a fantastic job, they were creative, energetic and received lots of praise from the workshop leaders.

We were so proud of what they achieved, and the students had a fantastic day!
