Admission for Students with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)

Our Academy's admissions arrangements prioritise inclusivity and accessibility for all students. We are committed to admitting all children whose Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plan names our academy, ensuring they receive the support they need. Additionally, we welcome and consider applications from parents of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who do not have an EHC plan, reflecting our dedication to providing a nurturing and accommodating learning environment for every child.

For pupils with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), the admissions process involves a consultation with the local authority. This consultation ensures that the Academy can fully meet the child’s specific needs and provide the necessary support for their education and well-being. By working closely with the local authority, we ensure that every child admitted to our Academy has access to the resources, environment, and care essential for their success and development.
