Congratulations to our Platinum Performing Arts students, who were rewarded for their outstanding achievements with a special trip to see Madagascar the Musical at Nottingham Royal Theatre on 25th July 2024.

Only 30 KS3 students were selected for this exclusive opportunity based on their exceptional performances in Performing Arts lessons. To qualify, students had to achieve gold in all Performing Arts disciplines while consistently demonstrating an outstanding attitude to learning throughout the academic year.

Throughout the trip, students conducted themselves with great respect and represented Nottingham Academy with pride. By the end of the performance, both staff and students couldn’t resist joining in, singing along to the iconic “I Like to Move It, Move It!”—a fantastic end to a well-earned celebration of their hard work and dedication.
