    Year 8 Cook Up a Storm with Homemade Burgers

    Students showcase their culinary skills in a hands-on DT cooking session

    This week, our Year 8 students got hands-on in the DT kitchen, crafting their own delicious homemade burgers from scratch — and what a mouth-watering success it was!

    The irresistible smell of sizzling burgers wafted through the corridors, drawing in curious staff members — including the Head — who couldn’t resist popping in for a closer look, and a cheeky taste.

    Students were amazed at how easy it was to create flavour-packed burgers using simple, fresh ingredients. A tasty lesson in both cooking and confidence — homemade really is best!
