Thank you for ensuring your child attends the academy each day – pupil attendance has and continues to improve and this could not happen without the support of our parents and carers. 

As shared with pupils in tutor time, we are delighted to launch our LOVE Your Attendance Challenge week, running from 9 to 13 February 2026. This initiative is designed to promote excellent attendance and recognise pupils for their commitment with exciting Valentine’s‑themed prizes. 

During the challenge period, pupils must be present in the academy to collect daily heart tokens from their Tutor. Each morning, Tutors will distribute tokens to their tutees simply for being in school in tutor time! Pupils should write their name and tutor group on each heart token before they collected by our student ambassadors and placed in their year group’s collection box in reception. To encourage strong attendance on Mondays and Fridays, pupils will receive at least two tokens on those days! 

Please note that tokens can only be issued on days when pupils are present in the academy. 

We have a fantastic selection of Valentine’s prizes and at the end of the challenge, the prize draw will take place live and aired to the students before we break up for the half term. The more days a pupil attends, the more tokens they earn and the greater their chances of winning. 

Please share this information with your child and encourage them to take part. Together, we can make this challenge a success and celebrate the spirit of LOVE Your Attendance.
