Nottingham Academy

World Book Night 2020

Staff and pupils across Nottingham Academy took part in World Book Night

We hope that you enjoyed celebrating World Book Night with us on 23 April. We loved seeing how many of you were reading, sharing recommendations, and encouraging others to join in.

For many people, setting aside dedicated time to read can be really beneficial. Reading for pleasure can be relaxing and offer a sometimes much-needed escape from the world, even if only for a short amount of time. If you enjoyed the #ReadingHour, why not give yourself time each day, or every few days, for reading? It doesn’t have to be a full hour, even 20 minutes or half an hour is time well spent.

Here are some photos of our academy community enjoying reading with their families.
