In an exhilarating display of creativity last half term, our 'Digital Wildlife' theme challenge showcased some brilliant talent. Congratulations to our winners:

• 1st Place: Atka, Year 11 – Awarded 500 House Points and a Trip Ticket/Prom Ticket from Newstead House.
• 2nd Place: Onab, Year 10 – Earned 300 House Points representing Colwick House.
• 3rd Place: Suhaib, Year 8 – Garnered 100 House Points for Rufford House.

As we celebrate these achievements, we’re thrilled to announce the theme for the upcoming half term—Fortnite!

Fortnite Theme Challenge Details

Are you a Fortnite fan with an eye for design? This half term, Nottingham Academy is launching the Young Ideas: Digital Creatives Award with an exciting Fortnite twist. Here's what you need to know:

• The Challenge:
  Create your own unique Fortnite-inspired skin or cosmetic item. You can design a new character outfit, pickaxe, back bling, or glider. Let your imagination run wild while staying true to the Fortnite vibe!

• How to Enter:

  1. Design Your Creation: Use your favourite graphic design software to craft a unique Fortnite skin or accessory.
  2. Save as an Editable File: Ensure you save your work in a format that can be easily reviewed to verify your original creation (the use of AI is not permitted)
  3. Submit Your Entry: Email your editable file as an attachment (do not send a link) to youngideas@nottinghamacademy.org.

• Prizes:

  • 1st Place: Win a 5000 V-Bucks Gift Card (or opt for a paid, end-of-year trip ticket) plus 500 House Points.
  • 2nd Place: Take home 1000 V-Bucks and 300 House Points.
  • 3rd Place: Secure 100 House Points.
    Plus, winning designs will be proudly showcased on our Wall of Fame and featured on the school website!

• Deadline:
  All entries must be submitted by the last day before the Easter holidays. Don’t delay—start designing and bring your Fortnite concept to life!
